Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Voltd LLC ("Voltd," "we," "us") about your use of the Voltd app. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Voltd.

Who Can Use Voltd

You must be at least 17 years old. You're responsible for your account and for keeping access to your phone number secure.

Community Rules: Zero Tolerance

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post, send, or share anything that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates anyone;
• is hateful or discriminatory, or promotes violence;
• is sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors in any way;
• is spam, a scam, or misleading;
• impersonates another person;
• shares someone else's private information or location without their consent;
• is illegal, or encourages illegal activity.

This applies to everything in Voltd: profiles, Zaps, Check-ins, Plans, groups, and messages.

Reporting and Blocking

• You can report any profile, Zap, Check-in, Plan, group, or message. Long-press it, or use the ••• menu on a profile.
• You can block anyone. Blocked users can't see your profile, Zaps, or messages, or send you friend requests, and they aren't told they were blocked. Manage blocks in Settings → Privacy.
• We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or permanently remove the user who posted it.

Your Content

You own what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you share it with, only so we can run Voltd. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Location

Voltd uses your location only when you share a Zap, Check-in, or Plan, and only shows it to the people you send it to. Exact coordinates and street addresses are deleted when the activity ends. See our Privacy Policy.

Share Links

Links to Zaps and Check-ins only open for people who were invited. Links to Plans can be opened by anyone you send them to. All activity links stop working when the activity ends.

Staying Safe

Only meet people you know and trust, and meet in public places. Voltd doesn't screen users and isn't responsible for what happens when people meet in person.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile, photos, friendships, activities, and messages.

Ending Access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Disclaimers and Liability

Voltd is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other users. [LEGAL REVIEW: complete for your jurisdiction.]

Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app.
